Welcome to the CITY OF WESTMINSTER in south central Middlesex.

It was incorporated in 1965 by bringing together the Metropolitan Boroughs of Paddington and St. Marylebone and the City of Westminster.

The Middlesex County Council chose Westminster as its capital by making the small but beautiful Middlesex Guildhall, appositely opposite the Houses of Parliaments, their HQ. Now the Guildhall has been transformed into the Middlesex Crown Courts.
