Welcome to the London Borough of HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM in south central Middlesex.

It was incorporated in 1965 by bringing together the Metropolitan Boroughs of Fulham and Hammersmith.

In 1965 the original borough was called simply 'Hammersmith' and the people of Fulham were so outraged they demanded their own ancient place name was incorporated into the title, which it was at a later date
